About Us
The Ritchie Park Parent Teacher Association (PTA) brings together parents, teachers, staff and students to enhance our children's experience at Ritchie Park in a variety of ways. We work to make sure every student at Ritchie Park has the best possible experience.
-
Running fun events that celebrate our rich cultural diversity, like Cultural Arts Night and International Night.
Bringing our kids' curriculum to life with events like the Science and Art Fair.
Sponsoring after-school activities that support a range of interests, from drama and yoga to fine arts and more.
Producing events for the whole family to enjoy: our back-to-school picnic, the parent/staff basketball game, and the student talent show, to name a few.
-
Offering at least one scholarship to each after-school activity for kids who can't afford the cost but want to participate.
Providing school supplies where they are needed, purchasing necessary classroom equipment, and reimbursing teachers for their extra expenses up to $100 per classroom.
-
We represent Ritchie Park within our school cluster and beyond.
And we help all of our parents make their voices heard by the Montgomery County Public School District and the County at large.
As a member of the Ritchie Park community, the PTA is here for you. Our goal is to help create the best experience for you and your child during your Ritchie Park years.
