Community Service Night is quickly approaching on February 16th! Please join us for our annual RPES Community Service Night to help fill backpacks for Comfort Cases. Comfort Cases provides backpacks filled with comfort and personal care items for youth entering the foster care system. This amazing organizations mission is to inspire communities to bring dignity and hope to youth in foster care through Comfort, Community, Character, and Compassion.

In addition, to Volunteering, we are also seeking donations for items to pack into each Comfort Case. These items are assigned by grade and can begin being sent to school on 2/1/23 all the way up to the day of the event 2/16/23.  Items requiring donations include:

• K: Travel sized shampoo & conditioner

• 1: Travel sized lotion & body soap

• 2: Coloring books & crayon packs

• 3: Blankets (no larger than 50”x60”). Some examples of reasonably priced blankets can be found through Walmart, 5-Below or bulk orders can be made and cost shared through Amazon)

• 4: Pajamas (sized 3T to 8/10, no nightgowns). Some examples of reasonably priced pajamas can be found through the following retailers: JC Penny and carters.

• 5: Your choice!

• All grades: Stuffed Animals, gently used and new pre and early reader books.
