We now have a new U.S. President in the White House! Join the Ritchie Park PTA to kick off Black History Month by learning about the role that enslaved and free African-Americans played in building the White House in 1792. Alycia Wright from Outschool will lead this event by telling a story and then having the kids create their own mini version of the US White House with legos. If no legos are available, kids can use any type of craft items, such as paper, pencils/crayons, scissors, blocks, recycled materials, and more!
